Screens Diagnostics Reports

Screens, on both iOS and macOS, allows you to send a support request without leaving the application. This support request includes a comprehensive diagnostics report that will help us help you.

Please remember that when investigating or troubleshooting an issue, it's critical to gather as much information about your use-case as possible. Configuration information for remote computers, routers, or other network devices is helpful in understanding your network topology, so screenshots are encouraged.

Screens 4 for macOS

To send a support request from Screens for macOS with a diagnostics report pre-attached:

  1. In the Screens application menu, click Help.
  2. Click Support Request.

You can also save a diagnostics report to disk:

  1. In the Screens application menu, click Help.
  2. Hold the Option key on your keyboard.
  3. Click Save Diagnostics Report.

 

Screens for iOS

To send a support request from Screens for iOS with a diagnostics report pre-attached:

  1. Tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Help.
  3. Tap Support.
