Screens Connect Settings in Details

General Settings

Hide Screens Connect in menu bar. This settings, when disabled allows Screens Connect to add an icon in the menu bar and be accessible from there.

Hide Screens Connect in Dock. This setting, when disabled allows Screens Connect to be visible in the Dock.

Prevent computer from sleeping. When enabled, Screens Connect will not allow your Mac from going to sleep.

Use Remote Login (SSH Tunneling). When enabled, Screens Connect will use a SSH tunnel in order to make the connection between Screens and your Mac secure.

Automatically check for updates. Enable this setting if you'd like to be notified when a new version is available.

Advanced Settings

Let Screens Connect deal with port mapping. Unless your router doesn't support UPnP/NAT Port-Mapping, we recommend selecting this option.
