macOS 15 Sequoia Firewall and Network Connectivity Issues

There are some known issues with the built-in firewall on macOS 15 Sequoia:

• macOS Firewall Regressions in Sequoia
• Apple's latest macOS release is breaking security software, network connections
• macOS Sequoia network issues

Recent security changes in macOS Sequoia may cause connectivity issues. Common symptoms include:

• Connection dropping unexpectedly after some time.
• Corruption in the received remote display rendering.

While Apple works on a fix, here are a few workarounds:

1. Turn off the firewall in System Settings > Network > Firewall.
2. Disable "Limit IP address tracking" in System Settings > Network > Wi-Fi/Ethernet > Details…. This workaround should allow you to keep the Firewall enabled.​
