SSH Keys

When employing a secure connection, Screens offers flexible authentication options with the remote machine, allowing users to authenticate using either a username and password or a private SSH key.

Key Management

Effortlessly manage your SSH Keys directly from the app settings under "Keys." Within this section, you can import keys seamlessly from the clipboard or by selecting a file—ensuring the imported key is private.

How to Authenticate with a Private SSH Key

Navigate to the saved connection settings and select "Security." Click or tap on the key icon to conveniently choose a key for authentication.

Security

Rest assured, SSH keys are securely stored within the iOS/macOS Keychain, ensuring a robust layer of protection for your authentication credentials.
