Importing and Exporting with the CSV format

Importing Data

You can import service and fuel up data in the CSV format. For now, CSV files from Fuelly (website and app) are supported.

To import data in CSV format:

1. Tap the Settings button in the bottom toolbar
2. Tap Import…
3. Select the CSV file from Files
4. Fill out Vehicle Metrics as required
5. Tap Import

If the data format is valid, Motorist will import all vehicles from the file and create events for each row. If the vehicle(s) already exist, Motorist will add events that are not yet present in your data.

Other formats:

If you'd like to import data in a different format that is not currently supported, please send us an example at motorist@edovia.com.

Exporting Data

To export your complete data:

1. Tap the Settings button in the bottom toolbar
2. Tap Export…
3. Select Comma Separated Values as the format
4. You can tap Rename if you'd like to change the file name
5. Tap Export

To export a specific vehicle:

1. From the vehicles view, tap and hold on a vehicle and select Export… from the menu
2. Select Comma Separated Values as the format
3. You can tap Rename if you'd like to change the file name
4. Tap Export
