TouchPad sends keystrokes to your computer, not characters. For example, when you tap on the Q letter, it sends the corresponding keystroke, not the letter Q. This means that if your device has a different keyboard layout than your computer, some keys may be misinterpreted.
TouchPad determines which keyboard mapping to use according to your device language (ex: English), the region format or the current used keyboard if possible.
These settings must match on both your device and computer.
