Hi,

I set up my connection with screens manually. works perfectly without ssh enabled. Now I would like to enable ssh (connect to a Mac with Lion with username and password). So I activated ssh, user and password are filled in automatically.
If I leave the host blank I get the message "connection refused".
If I fill in my local IP, 10.0.1.3 in this case, I first get the message that the tunnel is being created but after some seconds I get the message "ssh timeout"
On my mac, everything is configured correctly for ssh, see attached screenshot.
So what exactly is the problem with ssh? Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers
Manuel

    Hi,

Does your firewall (if enabled) allow connections through Remote Login?

Hi, I don't have the firewall enabled. It's off completely.

Is this while connecting locally or remotely?

This is remotely. Without ssh works fine.

You'll have to open a public port on your router and redirect it to your Mac and port 22.
